Sunday had a breakthrough last Tuesday — or was it Wednesday? I honestly couldn’t remember, which is exactly why I made the Cat Training Daily Log. If you’ve ever tried to train a cat, you know how easy it is to lose track of what you worked on and whether your cat was having a good day or a “I would rather do something else” kind of a day. That’s exactly why I started keeping a cat training log for Sunday.
Sunday does clicker training. We use positive reinforcement, a click and a treat every time she gets something right. Once you train regularly, the details matter. What treat did I use? How long did we train? Without writing it down, it all blurs together, and makes it harder to make progress.
Why Tracking Matters
Tracking helps you spot patterns. Maybe your cat performs better in the morning. Maybe she loses focus after five minutes. You won’t know unless you’re keeping notes. It also helps you celebrate progress. Cat training is often slow and incremental. Fortunately, our log lets you look back and see how far your cat has come. That’s where the cat training log comes in.
Training a cat with positive reinforcement is genuinely rewarding. But it’s also easy to lose track of what’s working, what isn’t, and where your cat left off. That’s exactly why I designed the Cat Training Daily Log digital download. It’s an easy to use 2-page PDF that keeps every session organized and helps you celebrate your cat’s progress along the way.
Cat Training Log
This log is perfect for anyone just starting out with clicker training or anyone who keeps forgetting where they left off. Our log lets you track details for 3 training sessions each day. You can record the time, skill practiced, treat used, duration, and level of difficulty. Page 2 gives you space to reflect upon what went well and what to work on next time.
The Cat Training Daily Log is available now in the Pawsome Sunday Etsy shop. The log is an instant digital download. Print it today and start your first cat training session tonight.
Sunday and I would love to hear about your cat training journey, and your experience with tracking your training sessions.
